Local Scholarships

KIWANIS: The KIWANIS Scholarship is available to any graduating senior who is enrolled for further education. This may be in any type of advanced educational institution; i.e. college, vocational school, beauty school, business school, etc. The award is given after the successful completion of the first quarter or semester.

Major in Nursing.
Indiana Healthcare Foundation (IHCF) Scholarship

Must major in nursing.
Fulton County Farm Bureau Scholarship

Family must be a member.
Dorothy & Paul Arven Memorial Scholarship

Must major in Nursing or Agriculture.
Young Economist Scholarship

Must have completed Economics Class.
Rochester Garden Club Scholarship

Must major in horticulture, agriculture or a related field.

American Society For Quality Scholarship

250 essay indicating their contributions in help others.
Fulton Co. Girl Scout Scholarship

Must have been a Girl Scout for a minimum of 5 years. Served in the Fulton County Unit.
Mentone Lions Scholarship

Open to all TVHS seniors.
Woodlawn Hospital Aux. Scholarship

Pursuing a career in healthcare.

Family must be a member.
Charles M. Tucker Memorial Scholarship

Pursuing a career in agriculture, "B" average or higher, and need of financial assistance.

Open to all TVHS seniors.
TVCTA Scholarship

Must major in Education for 4 years.
Las Donas-Marcus Hackworth/Scott Sechrist Memorial Scholarship

Open to all TVHS seniors with a minimum 8.0 GPA and participated in sports during high school.
George Welch Scholarship

TVHS seniors going into education.
Altrusa Scholarship

Based on Financial need, academics and school involvement.
Indiana Sheriff's Assoc. Scholarship

Majoring in criminal justice field.
Chevrolet Kwan R.E.W.A.R.D.S. Scholarship

Senior female students who demonstrate academic and athletic excellence.
Valley Chapter Scholarship

Must attend IVY Tech in Elkhart, South Bend or Warsaw. Students studying Mfg. Ind. Tech, DesignTech, Recreational Vehicle Service Tech, Electronics Tech or Interior Design.
Harrington Scholarship

Must have had orthodontic treatment from Dr. Harrington.
Beacon Credit Union Scholarship

Family must be a member of this credit union.
Northern Indiana Quail Unlimited Scholarship

Must take some college classes in Biology, Botany, Conservation, Environment or other related fields.
Roy Haggarty Memorial Scholarship

Must attend IU or one of the regional campuses.
Jack Vananken/North Central Co-Op Scholarship

Must be an active member in 4-H, having completed at least 5 years, or 2 years in FFA or have parents who are members of the North Central Co-Op.
Minority Teacher Scholarship & Special Ed Services Scholarship

Must be black or hispanic. Must seek a degree in Sp.Ed. or Occupational or Physical therapy.
Robert Byrd Honors Scholarship

Must have a min. 1300 SAT or 29 ACT.
SSACI Nursing Scholarship

Must show financial need & agree to work as a nurse in Indiana for at least 2 years following graduation.

Must be a Fulton County resident.
IAEOP Scholarship

Majoring in a business related field. Must have completed 4 semesters of business courses.

Claude & Marie Berger Scholarship

Seniors from North Miami and Tippecanoe Valley High Schools. Must have a "B" average or above.
The W.D. Cumberland 4-H Scholarship

Established in December 2003 by Scott Cumberland to provide scholarships for qualified students graduating from Rochester, Tippecanoe Valley, Caston or Winamac High Schools.
The Fulton County Foster Parent Associate Scholarship

Open to foster students or those who have a large financial need. Graduate of a high school serving Fulton County residents.
Amanda Kay Ramsey Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2006 by the family of Amanda Kay Ramsey to provide scholarships to Fulton County residents who are majoring in radiology therapy, respiratory or cardiopulmonary therapy or nursing.

Patricia Kumler Hoover Nursing Scholarship

Established in April 2003 by Patricia M. Hoover to provide scholarships for qualified graduating seniors from Tippecanoe Valley H.S. enrolled in an accredited state nursing program. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing an RN Degree.

Fulton Co. Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program

The program will provide scholarships for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $800 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
