Akron Lions Club

The Akron Lions Club was formed in 1947. We are here to serve our community.

Meeting on 2nd Tuesday of each month, except in July and August.

There is a Fish fry on Saturdays following our Tuesday meeting from September through June.

Lions is a service organization, we collect eye glasses for distribution to the needy. We also buy glasses for school children of needy families.
We are a sponsor of the leader dog program.
We build ramps for the disabled.
We give scholarships to two TVHS seniors.
We plant trees in Akron.
We help with medical and utilities bills for people in need in our community.
We’re working with the Akron Park Board to build Akron Community Building. We are still seeking donations for the Community Building. Any questions contact John Brown at Pike Lumber Company or any member.
