Meeting Minutes:
What is the Town Council?
The Town Council is responsible for setting public policy, approving the Town's annual budget, entering agreements, providing executive leadership, making planning and development decisions, and adopting new codes and ordinances.
The Town Council has a structured approach to policy development and decision-making through three delegated members. In order to support the implementation of these policies, the Town Clerk manages a team of officers who are available for public enquires by appointment. Council meetings are open to the public and it is possible to address the meeting by prior arrangement with the Town Clerk. The calendar of meetings of the Council is provided on the Akron Calendar page.
